“Fire Walker” is fresh off the easel. It reminds me of first responders who run into danger to protect others, and warriors who serve in the military, risking their lives to protect our freedoms. Mixed media with water soluble crayons, charcoal, acrylic inks, pastels, oils, and cold wax on 24x36” canvas.

Why NOT us?
Cancel the cry
of our hearts
that we are not enough.

“Nested” is my latest mixed media piece — acrylics heavily collaged with mulberry papers and finished with oils. I don’t primarily paint abstracts but I love the freedom of expression they afford.

Was so looking forward to Mastery graduation next week, but due to some circumstances, I’m having to cancel. 😢 To those going to Miami, soak it all in for me too. Combining my love for painting birds with portraiture in these latest portfolio pieces… Please let me know your favorites on my page. Deciding what to take to an art show in October. Thank you!
