Hello everyone ☺️! I am working on this little painting- I wanted to practice skin tones and people. I was hoping to get some advice for the background, particularly the orange area. I want to ground the people more, and I am not sure if I should redo the background or make it more layered and cohesive somehow, perhaps with abstract? I would love some feedback! 😃

This was a piece I did for mixed media in the mastery program. I thoroughly enjoyed this process of having no set plan, and deriving images out of mark making. ☺️

This is a commission piece I worked on during the mixed media portion of the mastery program. I was planning on adding a few finishing touches, particularly on the neck, before varnishing. ☺️ I would love to hear what you think.
